Product Description
WiiM Pro Plus DAC and streamer allows you to modernise any system and introduce a wide range of music streaming options. This device will add streaming capability to your current audio system and will also convert to hi-res anything connected via its RCA inputs - this can be a turntable or other analogue source. There is also a range of digital inputs that can take a digital feed from CD players and the like.
Once connected you will be able to stream music using services such as Spotify or Airplay 2 as well as hundreds of online radio stations. Control is easy via the app or remote control. Finally, the Pro version has several upgrades.
Upgraded analogue to digital converter(ADC)
The analogue to digital converter used by the WiiM pro-Plus DAC and streamer has been upgraded and now uses a Burr-brown audio PCM 1861 ADC chip. This IC works at up to 192kHz at 32 bits. As a result, it now encodes music at a high resolution.
The sound is clearer and has more detail. Additionally, the signal-to-noise ratio is now 110dB. The analogue input can be used for turntables, MP3 players, or TV sound.
Ultra-low noise circuitry
The power supply and board layout have been carefully designed to reduce noise. Additionally, the clock generator circuit is shielded. The result is cleanly converted analogue sound with low noise and distortion.
Premium AKM DAC
With the WiiM pro-Plus DAC and streamer, the digital inputs are fed to a Premium AKM DAC. This is one of the latest chips and achieves a leading low distortion level and a wide dynamic range. Velvet sound technology is used to produce a smooth accurate sound. The chip supports up to 768kHz PCM and DSD512. The PCM/DSD selection automatically switches.
Good Connectivity
The WiiM pro-Plus DAC and streamer easily connect to Wi-fi and also has a wired Ethernet connector. Moreover, there is an optical digital input and output. There is also a digital coaxial output. The analogue input is via a pair of RCA sockets, as is the analogue output. Power is via USB. A remote control is provided. Voice commands via Sir and Alexa can also be used.
Why a DAC streamer?
Legacy systems will probably not be able to stream from modern devices such as Smartphones and tablets. Therefore, rather than throwing out your old system. why not add a simple black box that will add streaming features?
The WiiM Pro Plus DAC and streamer make it simple. Just connect the analogue output to your amplifier’s Aux input and you can stream from any of the popular services. Moreover, you will also then have a connection to your home Wi-Fi network.
Once connected you can stream from your Smartphone or tablet and access hundreds of online radio stations podcasts and other content. The supplied remote control can also be used. Lastly, The analogue input can also be used to digitize the signal from your turntable or tape deck.

'As a first, affordable introduction to the many and various charms of music streaming...It sounds poised and accomplished, it has a surprisingly well-executed control app, and it’s ready to form the basis of a multi-room system too. If you want to do better than this, it’s going to cost you quite a lot more money' (What Hi-Fi review)
