It is a significant upgrade over the standard power supply included with the Dino and even over the lesser Dino+ power supply upgrade.
If you want to get the best possible sound from your Dino and vinyl set-up, this is the ultimate Dino upgrade.
Never Connected
How much can a power supply affect the sound of what its powering? In practice, the differences can be significant. The basis for the design of this PSU upgrade is that it is theoretically unaffected by the quality of the mains supply.

Sonic Improvements
Pairing the Dino with the Dino+ results in a more transparent, open and natural sound. Adding the Never Connected power supply in place of the Dino+ widens dynamics further, lowers the noise floor and sounds more "organised" in a way that must be heard to be appreciated.
Matching Design
The casing matches the Dino phono stage (aside from front power switch) so looks smart side by side on your hi-fi rack. It includes a high quality interconnecting cable to connect it to your Dino phono stage and IEC socket so you can either use the standard mains cable included or your choice of higher quality mains cable.

Can absolutely recommend this external power supply for the Dino Mk 3 phono stage. I skipped the Dino+ power supply and went for this instead. The Dino Mk 3 on its own is fantastic but this NC Never Connected power supply takes it to the next level. The level of detail I'm now hearing is amazing, improved sound stage and there is more bass, in a very good way, not boomy at all. Yes, this is expensive, more than the actual Dino Mk 3 phono stage itself but in my opinion it's totally worth it over the power supply that is bundled with the Dino Mk 3.
