Product Description
Townshend Audio Allegri Reference Preamplifier is a microprocessor-controlled passive autotransformer volume control pre amp. It can be connected to many sources via 7 pairs of inputs, has full remote control feature, and superbly detailed LED display perfect for any audio enthusiast.
Passive AVC
This preamplifier uses autotransformer volume control which offers a far superior sonic performance compared to conventional transformers. It offers complete control over volume at all listening levels, from very low levels to very high levels the Allegri Reference delivers refined volume control for an incredibly wide range. It has low leakage inductance ensuring good coupling, transiency and flatter frequency response.
Front Panel Controls
This preamplifier enjoys a range of controls for your convenience. Front panel controls allow you to control inputs 1-5 where you can adjust the volume level on the right hand control whilst the left hand control brings up the volume level display.
Full Remote Control
Allegri Reference comes equipped with a remote control, allowing you to sit back and relax whilst being able to operate the volume, mute or select an RCA input or program a pre-set level with the touch of a button. Simply hold down the volume button for a more rapid increase change or one press changes the volume by one step. You can pre-set each of the 5 inputs to your desired volume or use home cinema bypass which allows the volume to be controlled by the AV receiver alternatively.
LED Display
The Allegri Reference enjoys a super clear, white LED display that looks super sleek on the stylish grey build. The optimised LED display is powered by interference-free DC, making it much more efficient. Alongside this, an ambient light level sensor controls the brightness allowing an easy to read display in both darkness and bright light.
