Established by KEF’s first Chief Design Engineer, Malcolm Jones in 1972, Falcon’s tradition, history and innovation combined with attention to detail and quality continues to motivate the quest for excellence.

Malcolm designed and developed legendary KEF B139, B200, B110, T15, T27 drive systems which led to the creation of the famous Reference Series 104 system.

Founded to accommodate the retail DIY speaker building market, the revolutionary Self-bonded Ferrite Cored Inductors and a comprehensive range of capacitors enabled systems to be designed using units from various manufacturers.

During the 1980’s and 90’s, Falcon produced hundreds of thousands of inductors per year worldwide. At one time over 2/3rds of UK manufacturers employed Falcon inductors.
