Product Description

Roksan Shiraz is a Moving Coil phono cartridge distinguished by what is arguably the world’s finest diamond profile stylus.

Stunning Detail

Made in Sweden, Gyger II has an ultra-sharp profile affording it great tracking ability with exceptional detail recovery and low surface noise. The body is constructed from one-piece aluminium alloy and mounted with a sturdy broadcast grade generator secured with triple spikes for exact alignment and coupling free from distortion prompting adhesives.

Unwarranted cantilever movements at specific frequencies are restrained by the capacitors attached straight to the generator over the coil so they are able to precisely conserve the minute signal.

Roksan’s confidence in Shiraz’s ability is demonstrated through their brave claim that following correct setup, the sonic performance cannot be bettered by any other product currently on the market.

High Output MC

As a moving coil cartridge, the Shiraz achieves a moderately high output which is vital to producing an efficient signal to noise ratio and channel separation but needs to be matched carefully with a preamplifier phono stage.
