Product Description
QED XT3 mains cable encompasses 47 years of engineering excellence in researching and developing an audiophile quality cable that improves the sounds of your hifi setup.
Extensively Researched
QED has undertaken extensive scientific research to evaluate what will bring the best audible improvements in performance to the XT3 mains cable. The QED XT3 has inbuilt X-Tube technology, which means that fewer distortions caused by modulation of the impedance of the cable will affect the flow of current to your audio equipment and therefore less likely to find their way into your music. Without such technology, amplifiers could sound glassy and hard and have less ability to respond to any sudden changes in your music, giving a lock of dynamic and weak bass performance.
X-Tube Technology
The QED XT3’s X-Tube technology features braided individual cores in the live and neutral conductors that are made small enough so they aren’t affected by eddy currents from cores close by that might contribute to the proximity effect. Additionally, they are effectively isolated from one another and the calculated twist rate of the strands allows for no two conductors to remain next to each other for more than a few millimeters which further enhances the even current flow along the cable.
QED assures high quality in the XT3 mains cable and it has been designed to bring improvements to your hifi equipment and extensive safety checks and balances within the design mean that you are receiving a quality product.
