It also features support for Amazon Alexa and IR control.
Advanced Technologies
The Matrix range from PulseEight pair technological advancements with a highly functional design in order to deliver the highest performing video distribution system out there. It enables instant video connectivity throughout the home using HDBaseT link technology. It accommodates multiple sources with 8 outputs.
Contextual IR
With the creation of Contextual IR gone are the days pressing through button after button to connect to your TV source, you now just have 8 buttons to connect to whatever room you're in. Simply press numbers 1-8 for each possible input.
HDMI-CEC
You can also use a standard TV remote to connect to one of your input devices through the use of CEC technology. Pressing the source key will list the all the input devices so you can simple select the one you want and the Neo 8 Professional 8x10 Video Matrix will do the rest, routing your video automatically, regardless of if the source supports CEC.
Instant on with Sky+HD Box
Sky's innovative remote control feature that uses CEC support is a Sky button that turns the TV and Sky+HD box on simultaneously. This inspired Pulse-Eight to develop their own feature, an Instant on button that works by sensing when the Sky button is turned on in any room and correspondingly switching the video path to your Sky+ HD box. With the Neo linked up to your Sky box it can detect which one is not in use and route it to your TV.
