Pro-Ject CD Box S3 is a purist CD player, designed to be a perfect match for other S3 models or indeed any other hi-fi separates. The CD Box S3 is a marriage of form, function and technology to deliver a CD player unlike any other on the market today.
A New Look
The S3 is designed in a sleek and smooth casing, allowing for Pro-Ject to showcase their new sizing standard that is made out of aluminium and looks impeccable in any home (in either the black or silver finishes) – which is paired with an all new 1.54” display.
Latest DAC
Onboard the S3 CD player is a brand new DAC that is vastly improves upon the previous model, providing one of the best in class sampling and bit depth with a reproduction of up to 32bit/48kHz. This on its own takes the S3 to the elite table of CD players without compromising on any detail of sound reproduction.
If you want to use your own DAC in your system that isn’t an issue either thanks to the S/PDIF coaxial output allowing you to output directly to your separate DAC.
