Established in 1987, Acoustic Energy has been leading loudspeaker design for many decades consistently producing award-winning hi-fi and home cinema components for any application including the legendary Acoustic Energy AE1 active speakers.
Acoustic Energy have consistently produced numerous award-winning products; from the Aego M, 100 and 300 ranges, Aego soundbar, Extreme outdoor speakers and Reference 3 range, including the iconic and classic AE1 active speakers in 1988, which are used in studios globally and have now been in production for over 20 years.
Initially designed for the pro audio field, AE1 accumulated a worldwide reputation with musicians and studios and won the British Hi-Fi Award for Best Speaker for two consecutive years. This led to the brand expanding from its HQ in West London to its current 15000sq ft place in Cotswolds distributing to over 50 countries with a strong distribution centre in the domestic market.
In 1995, AE turned their attention to launching numerous award-winning product ranges including one of their initial Bluetooth speakers, Wi-Fi Radio and the beginning of the Aego series. Acoustic Energy's latest products include the 100 Series with a revision of the renowned AE109, their first active loudspeaker; AE1 Active and the new BT2 Bluetooth model.
The Acoustic Energy philosophy is simple: to produce products utilising innovative audio design solutions by employing the latest audio technology wisely and elegantly.
