Product Description

Maximising cable and connector capacity, the Oyaide SS-47 original hi-fidelity solder works by eliminating sound character. With the importance of the contact and joining area in mind, the company has managed to achieve a high-fidelity audio specialized solder.

4N Pure Tin

Improved quality is ensured as Oyaide selects only the best material and the SS-47 audio grade solder is no exception. Compared to conventional solders usually containing 99.9% 3N pure tin, the SS-47 contains 99.993% 4N pure tin as a result of meticulously excluding impurities.

On top of this, 4.7% silver and 1.7% copper are included to improve the electric conductivity and sturdiness. This compounding ratio sets the eutectic point to 217℃ meaning the soldering process can be finished in seconds with a 40W soldering iron.

Flux Consideration

As a result of flux consideration, the solder restricts surface corrosion and residual chlorine to less than 0.12%. In addition the flux of SS-47 has 83% fast-spreading ratio. The ultimate solder for extracting the best performance from components and creating stress-free craftwork, the SS-47 allows you to discover a new D.I.Y life.


Regardless of soldering skills, the Oyaide SS-47 offers great workability and a beautiful finish. The SS-47 is chilled quickly and doesn't damage other materials.

The solder considers the tendency of an alternating electric current to distribute itself within a conductor for a greater current density near the surface of the conductor than at its core. The surface doesn't disturb the electric signal flow and prevents electric turbulence.
