Naim Mu-so Qb 2nd Generation Wireless Speaker System

Naim Mu-so QB 2nd Generation transforms the aesthetics and performance of the original Mu-so Qb adding supplmentary software and hardware revisions to deliver a drastic performance upgrade.

Just like its big brother Mu-so 2nd Generation, Mu-so Qb features Naim’s patented music-streaming platform developed over three years by 25 engineers to offer the ultimate performance whether playing your own digital music library, Internet radio or streaming music services such as Tidal and Spotify.

Intelligent Controls

Mu-so Qb 2nd Generation has been upgraded with an all-new intuitive interface consisting of 15 touch sensitive buttons and a bold illuminated volume dial. A proximity sensor wakes the display upon approach. Also included is a built in demo mode for an enhanced in store experience.

Unique Streaming Platform

Mu-so Qb 2nd Generation features a completely new streaming platform as seen in Naim's flagship network-connected products to deliver the latest music streaming technology in genuine hi-fi performance. New features include built-in Google Chromecast for seamless playback of smart device apps like Deezer, Qobuz and TuneIn.

Mu-so Qb 2nd Generation features latest WiFi standards which is five times faster than the previous generation. For the most reliable connection, there is enhanced stability and total support for both 2.4 and 5GHz bands.

You can also update your Mu-so Qb to enable Tidal Connect which allows the user to stream music directly from the Tidal App instead of via the Naim App. You can still use the Naim App to stream Tidals core features if you desire. 

Digital Signal Processing

The DSP is completely redesigned from the ground up. This new advanced multicore Digital Signal Processor delivers more than 13 times the performance of the existing single-core processor. This grants superior precision so you get to hear even more detail from your music.

Upgraded Speaker Driver

Naim and Focal research and development departments have joint forces to develop new custom designed mid range and bass drive units for superior performance.

Multiroom

There are three easy ways to enable multiroom; combine with other networked Naim products (like the reference ND555 or original Mu-so and Mu-so Qb) via the Naim app. Pair with other AirPlay 2-compatible wireless speakers via the Apple Home app or alternatively pair with Chromecast devices via groups moderated by the Google Home app.

Customisation

Supplied with a black grille as standard, you have the option to choose from three new colour grille options; Peacock, Olive and Terracotta (sold separately). These grilles are also compatible with the original Mu-so Qb.

The Naim App is updated with a wider Naim portfolio for seamless multiroom, discovering and pairing. Unlike the original; new Mu-So Qb 2nd Generation comes with the same handset as the Mu-so 2 speaker as standard.
