Product Description
Mark Levinson No 534 Dual Monaural Amplifier is designed to deliver an audio experience that showcases all of the subtle lows and dynamic highs with a tremendous amount of detail and energy. The 534 stereo power amp is a great choice for your hifi system and can power any set of loudspeakers.
534 vs 536
The no. 534 differs from the No. 536 as it is a stereo amplifier, meaning you can run to channels to a pair of loudspeakers, unlike the No. 536, which is a monoblok amp, meaning you can only run one channel, and you’ll need two units to run a stereo set-up.
However, the 536 Monoblok amp has more power and when linked with a 526 pre, you’ll have the ultimate Mark Levinson hifi set-up. Which ever you choose, depends on your hifi set-up and/or budget, but a solid and detailed sound is assured regardless.
Powerful Amplification
The No. 534’s has a powerful toroidal transformer that delivers huge power to any set of loudspeakers, 250W per channel. It is shielded to reduce electrical and mechanical noise and will showcase all the beautiful dynamics in the music and create a beautiful stereo image.
Advanced Circuit Design
Mark Levinson has designed the No. 534 power amp to deliver an uncompromising performance and a pure and rich sound. With their proprietary approach to circuit design, they have achieved this with the use of discrete components that are carefully selected for their precise function.
Great at Any Volume
The No. 534 power amp provides a balanced and consistent sound regardless of how high or low you have the volume set. This is due to how the amp switches between a class-A mode for most listening conditions and a class A/B mode at higher volumes, which ensures you get an outstanding performance with detail at every volume.
Fully Balanced Inputs
The Mark Levinson No. 534 power amp is extremely versatile, with a number of balanced and single ended inputs to allow it to connect to virtually any preamp. As a rule of thumb, it is always recommended to keep your hifi separates within the same brand and series, both for sound and looks, so for this, the Mark Levinson No. 526 is a great option.
