Product Description
The Klipsch Core 100 2.1 Soundbar is a great addition to any flat screen TV. Improve the sound with 2.1 channels. There is also a Dolby Atmos-equipped model known as the Core 200. Movies will sound amazing as well as games and music.
Two full-range drivers deliver clear sound while two 4” built-in subwoofers deliver punchy bass. However, you can also add an external subwoofer. The unit can be placed above or below the screen as well as fixed to a wall. Lastly, control is easy with the Klipsch Connect app. The Klipsch Core 100 2.1 Soundbar is 28” wide.
Top qaulity sound By Onkyo and Klipsch
Two 2.5” aluminium drivers are used by the Klipsch Core 100 2.1 Soundbar. Moreover, there are also two built-in, 4” subwoofers that provide punchy bass. Virtual Dolby Atmos places sounds around the room with a spatial effect. Onkyo provided the decoding chips while Klipsch's know-how was used to tune the sound.
Easy use with the Klipsch connect app
The Klipsch Core 100 2.1 Soundbar can be controlled by the Klipsch Connect app. This can be installed on Apple and Android devices. There are plenty of EQ settings as well as night mode and dialogue boost. You can also control the volume from the app. The Flexus sound system delivers unparalleled sound. 2.1 refers to two main channels and a subwoofer.
Good Connectivity
Connectivity with the Klipsch Core 100 2.1 Soundbar is good with an optical digital input as well as USB C. There is also HDMI ARC. This is used to connect a TV so that the TV’s remote can control the volume of the soundbar. A connection to an external subwoofer is provided. Lastly, there is also a Bluetooth pairing button, so that you can stream audio from your phone.
Why a soundbar?
Most flat screen TV’s do not have good sound. Therefore a good soundbar will vastly improve your movie and gaming experience. Multiple speakers are included in the unit so there are no trailing wires to deal with. It is also an inexpensive way to add Bluetooth connectivity. The Klipsch Core 100 2.1 Soundbar can connect to your phone to play music, podcasts, and audiobooks.
Placing a soundbar
The Klipsch Core 100 2.1 Soundbar can be mounted on furniture under the TV screen. It can also be wall-mounted either above or below the screen. Ideally, the soundbar should be at ear level with the listener, so that sounds seem to come from the screen rather than from off-centre. Notably, this is more important with the 200 as this has a centre speaker.
What is virtualized Dolby Atmos?
The Core 100 2.1 Soundbar has no upward-firing speakers. It creates a surround effect electronically. This is best in rooms with high ceilings or those with sound-absorbent ceiling tiles. On the other hand, the Core 200 does have upward-firing speakers, for Dolby Atmos. These bounce sound of the ceiling. Therefore, the ceiling needs to be flat and between 7.5 to 12 feet high.
