Product Description
KEF Ci130QSfl is a flush mount architectural speaker designed to be fitted in-wall or in the ceiling. It is designed around KEF’s Uni-Q array and features KEF’s tangerine waveguide technology. It can easily be installed and is perfect for discreet and minimalistic designs.
Discreet Design
The Ci130QSfl is a flush-mounted, frameless speaker designed to be as unobtrusive as possible; this is amongst the most discreet speaker options in the range. The speaker can be installed as part of the plastering process, and thanks to its frameless design it sits completely flush with the wall or ceiling for a minimalist aesthetic.
Audiophile Sound Quality
The Ci130QSfl features high-grade design and components for audiophile sound quality, like the rest of QS series. It has a 5.25” woofer cone, which will comfortably match most compact stand-mount speakers in terms of dynamics and scale of sound. Its design of the Ci130QSfl is built around KEF’s Uni-Q array and Tangerine Waveguide technology.
KEF’s Uni-Q Design
KEF’s Uni-Q technology involves positioning the treble unit within the throat of the woofer to create a single point source for sound across the whole frequency spectrum; this results in a cohesive and more pristine sound.
Tangerine Wave-Guide Technology
The Ci130QSfl uses KEF’s "tangerine" wave-guide technology to improve treble dispersion. This is basically a radial channel phase plug that creates a slight compression loading effect resulting in slightly higher output gain without the need for additional power. This provides a more efficient high-end performance with better treble integration with the mid-range.
KEF’s Matched Sound
All of the KEF QS-Series speakers have been sonically matched so that the tonal characteristics of the speakers are the same throughout the range. This means that the sound will sonically be even if you have multiple KEF speakers in your system. This provides tonal balance, accuracy and neutrality of the sound throughout your room.
