Product Description
Jeff Rowland Model 825 flaghip stereo power amplifier is designed with a machined aluminium chassis which is of aircraft grade quality. It provides excellent thermal heat transfer/dissipation, resistance to RFI and EMI and resonance control.
Low Noise
This power amplifier provides exceptionally low levels of noise. It uses zero-current switching technology in its 4 DC to DC converters which greatly reduces levels of conducted and radiated noise and is highly efficient. Specially designed 4 pole capacitors reduce any remaining residual noise within the power supply and noise isolation properties provide over 130 db of noise isolation offering exceptionally low broadband noise and output impedance.
Active Power Factor Correction
Active Power Factor Correction in the 825 stereo power supply minimises AC line harmonic noise pollution whilst increasing the AC line power utilisation to 93%. Power factor corrections mean the voltage and current demand the same power from the amplifier, resulting in them remaining in phase together thus eliminating the transient, out of sync, high current pulses that are common in power amps without this correction technology.
Highly Efficient Design
The 825 supplies a an efficient 2500w of noise free switch mode power which provides all circuits and operating conditions with regulated voltage which allows for quiet operation over a wide range of AC mains power sources. Alongside this, the ceramic circuit boards are ultra-rigid and with a low dielectric constant for exceptionally low energy retention and absorption.
Transformer-Coupling and Isolation
Transformer coupled input circuitry makes this power supply compatible with universal components. It provides excellent resistance to common mode noise interference from the input source and efficiently eliminates RFI, EMI and ground loop noise. Transformer coupling ensures identical amplifier overall gain when using unbalanced inputs.
