Grado GS3000e Headphone is the newest addition to the Statement Series and the finest wooden model Grado Labs has currently developed. For the first time, Cocobolo is featured in a large-body housing lending the Grado some of the highest-grade sound the company has ever produced.
Cocobolo
The Cocobolo wood is sourced from Central America and is packed with texture and sentiment that is characteristic of the music from the region. This is the same wood that helped the GH2 and flagship Epoch and Aeon phono cartridges reach such great heights.
Following this success, the material was carried over to the Statement Series process to create the fullest single body of Cocobolo Grado had ever built for which GS3000e was the perfect fit.
Grado Drivers
Grado carefully tuned the 50mm signature drivers to not only exploit the larger soundstage but also encompass the deep and impactful musical properties of this unique wood. Cocobolo remains one of Grado's favorite woods to work with.

I've owned Grado headphones for many years and gradually made my way up the line - the RS-1s are supremely detailed, the GS1000Es add a much wider soundstage and poise but the GS3000Es simply take music to another level, providing a sound that is supremely engaging and revealing as is the case with most ultra-HiFi.

Maybe a bit sceptical at first due to the price, but wonderfully surprised how good these are, beautifully clear and detailed, partnered wit my Icon Audio PS3 headphone amp they become a place to lose yourself for an evening, well recommended for anyone looking for a good pair of headphones.
