Product Description
Goldring Eroica HX MC phono cartridge joins the Eroica H and Eroica LX in Goldring’s highly regarded range.
As any audiophile will attest to, the cartridge is one of if not the most pivotal point in your setup, as that is the difference between your LP sounding gorgeous and sounding like nails on a chalkboard. Goldring has taken what they have learnt with the LX model of cartridge and applied that same mentality to their newest member of the family the Eroica HX.
Making The Move
The whole premise of the Eroica HX is allowing you to experience the beauty of what a moving coil cartridge can give to your turntable without the upheaval of having to have a complete system re-build to accommodate it, thanks to the cartridge being compatible with any tonearm straight out of the gate.
A Iron Clad Decision
Goldring on the Eroica HX have designed this cartridge with an all new pure iron cross-armature that allows the copper windings a perfect path for a parallel magnetic field to operate within, thus increasing the operating envelope of this already fantastic cartridge that will take your vinyl to new heights that some moving magnet cartridges can’t reach.
Diamonds Are Vinyls Best Friend
On the Eroica HX, there is a Gyger II Diamond Stylus that delivers an exceptional performance on frequencies as high as 50kHz without any sign of signal degradation, all on a styli with only a 5 micron playing radius, meaning that you can truly find every pluck of the bow or strum of the bass guitar in your vinyl.
Delicate But Protected
It goes without saying that al styli are delicate, but Goldring has taken steps to ensure that this cartridge truly stands up to the test of time thanks to a Pocan housing that is strong but lightweight enough to never impact the quality of sound that the styli produces.
