Product Description
The EE EE1 Ethernet Noise Isolator is placed onto either end of an Ethernet cable that carries digital audio signals. Chord makes a wide range of top-quality audio and networking cables. It is used to eliminate any noise that would degrade the audio signal.
It can also be used in conjunction with Chord’s network switches. Notably, Ethernet cables were not originally intended to carry digital audio and can be prone to noise pickup. This noise can upset the timing of data leading to dropouts and jitter.
Targeted filtering
Electrical noise can come from many places in the home and network cables are not particularly well shielded. As a result, they can act like aerials introducing all kinds of noise and interference. Hence the EE EE1 Ethernet Noise Isolator uses targeting filtering to remove the most harmful noise.
They are self-powered and convert and grounded noise to heat. Galvanic isolation reduces low-frequency noise as well as high-frequency noise. This maintains the integrity of the data.
Use more than one English Electric EE1 Ethernet Noise Isolator
An English Electric EE1 Ethernet Noise Isolator should be used at either end of any Ethernet cables that carry audio signals. Chord also makes a range of shielded Ethernet cables and noise-reducing network switches.
Networks can be asked to carry high data rate audio signals for high-definition audio and a clean signal is essential to maintain the audio playback quality. You should also replace standard Ethernet leads with chords with highly shielded cables.
Who are Chord?
Chord has been designing and making high-quality audio leads for nearly forty years. Often cables are overlooked but they can play a big part in how a system sounds. They make speaker cables as well as audio interconnects as well as specialized networking devices for digital audio systems.
