JBL S4700 is a three-way premium-performance floor stander loudspeaker that has been developed from the same innovative technology used to create the reputable K2 S9900. The S4700 sits proudly amongst the most sophisticated and complex loudspeakers worldwide.
Driver Array
S4700 employs an all-new 15" 2216Nd cast-frame woofer with a powerful dual 3" voice coil and neodymium motor mechanism for exceptional balance with the horn-loaded compression drivers. Mid and high-frequencies are replicated by a pair of titanium diaphragm compression drivers and a SonoGlass dual horn assembly.
The two-inch 175Nd-3 AquaPlas-coated titanium diaphragm compression driver is paired with a 90° x 60° Bi-Radial horn that delivers high and mid-frequencies with life-like dynamics and breathtaking realism while the 138Nd UHF 0.75" titanium diaphragm compression driver with a 60° x 30° Bi-Radial horn reproduces crucial air and spaciousness.
Stunning Design
Premium-standard network components and dual binding post inputs guarantee audiophile performance in any application. The stunning furniture-grade cherry wood veneer enclosure is internally braced at vital points and is tuned through a rear-firing port.
The S4700 is intended for use in top-performance two-channel audio systems or as an LCR loudspeaker in a JBL Synthesis multichannel home cinema set up.
