Devialet Phantom I 108dB Opera is a spectacular edition of the Phantom range inspired by the brand's partnership with the Paris Opera. The Phantom I 108dB Opera model provides high-end sound performances, a dedicated packaging and gold leaves gilded on the side plates.

Phantom Opera Range

The Devialet Phantom I 108dB Opera sits above Devialet’s Phantom II 98dB Opera with bigger build, higher power and larger sound pressure level. It is perfect for main left and right speakers or if you need more to fill larger rooms. It also comes with a remote control.

Compared to the other Phantom I and II models, the Opera range’s design is based on the Paris Opera. The Paris Opera shared the vision of excellence and strong ties to France's musical and historical heritage. The partnership has led to the opening of a Devialet Sound Discovery Area within the Paris Garnier as well as the launch of a co-branded Phantom.

Opéra de Paris

For the Paris Opera model, Devialet conceived a special edition of the Phantom I, an extreme piece of engineering protected by more than a hundred patents. As a result of Devialet’s engineers’ obsessive quest, Devialet’s Phantom I range emits an ultra-dense sound with physical impact, delivering a deeply emotional and overwhelming acoustic experience that meets the requirements of excellence of the Paris Opera.

Devialet’s Phantom I includes many of Devialet’s advanced patented technology to provide an accurate and powerful sound. Such technology:

- Devialet's powerful next-generation audio processing chip, which enhances heat dissipation for an improved performance with and ultra-low distortion, saturation and noise.

- Analog Digital Hybrid technology, which combines the sophistication of analogue with the power of digital; it has the best of both worlds.

- Heart Bass Implosion technology, which is designed so that the two lateral woofers work in sync to create opposing forces that cancel out vibrations to generate an ultra-dense sound.

- Speaker Active Matching software algorithm, which produces high fidelity sound during playback whilst also protecting your speaker. This is able to process more information to reproduce precise details in the music, which you may not heard before.

Rare Work of Art

Drawing on the iconic interiors of the auditorium, each Phantom I Opera speaker is emblazoned with bespoke Opéra de Paris logo. The master gilders at Ateliers Gohard, who also restored the gold of the Paris Garner, finish the Phantom I’s gold leaf gills according to time-honored methods.

Each gold leaf is applied by hand for a unique, irreplaceable patina. Heritage techniques demand absolute perfection first time around —once the leaf has been applied, it cannot be removed. Bearing the Phantom I 108dB Opéra de Paris signature, gills are gilded with moongold, a precious and stainless palladium-yellow gold alloy.
