Product Description

The Jazz Club is based on Graham Slee's award-winning Era Gold with the addition of equalisation settings for almost any LP ever made. Adjustable equalisation is a unique feature and allows you to hear your complete collection properly, including early mono and jazz LPs - many of which were cut using proprietary, non-RIAA equalisation (RIAA being the modern standard).

Equalisation is selected by switches on the front panel. The benefit of listening to records with the accurate and correct equalisation can be staggering, especially if you collect many older records. Of course, the Jazz Club also includes a standard RIAA setting for playing modern LPs.

Graham Slee once stated, 'life was just as real 50-100 years ago as it is today. People didn't flicker or walk as fast as old news reel footage would suggest and music didn't sound tinny and muddy. The Jazz Club vinyl and 78 RPM restoration pre-amplifier removes the 'sepia' and brings back the 'color' to all analogue records'.

Explanation of the equalisation available on the Jazz Club can be found here. The Jazz Club is designed for use with standard moving magnet (MM) or high output moving coil (MC) phono cartridges. It can also be used with low-output moving coil cartridges with the addition of the Elevator EXP Head Amp.

Includes superior Graham Slee PSU1 power supply.
