Beyerdynamic Tesla T1 3rd Gen Headphones have an open back design and have been developed with better materials and advanced technology to improve upon the sound and comfort of their previous models. The Tesla T1 3rd Gen is handmade in Germany and feels and sounds another step closer to perfection.
Beyerdynamic Tesla T1 2nd Gen vs. 3rd Gen
In contrast to Beyerdynamic's Tesla T1 Gen 1 and Gen 2 headphones, the 3rd generation model has taken the impedance down from 600 ohms to 32 ohms to make it suitable for both hi-fi amps and mobile devices, no special headphone amp is required to drive it.
High-Precision Sound
Beyerdynamic's Tesla T1 headphones boast an unrivalled richness of detail and spatiality; it features a gently intensified bass to provide a neutral and spatial sound signature with even more warmth.
Tesla Driver Technology
The Tesla T1 drivers are designed and manufactured at Beyerdynamic's German headquarters where they are then matched to ensure both cups are paired. A sound transducer is used with the power of more than one Tesla T1 enabling it to achieve highest efficiency and ensure perfect impulse fidelity.
Open Back Design
The open-back design of the Tesla T1 is designed to deliver the most natural and spatial sound possible; the tilted arrangement of the drivers also contribute to the sense of spatiality. This allows the music to seem ‘in front’ on centre stage, just like at a concert.
Holistic Design
The precise and perforated pattern of the T1 design is achieved by using an etching process that’s applied to the material and is fine-tuned to the headphones’ acoustics. This allows the T1’s look, and sound, light and transparent.
Hi-Res Audio
The Tesla T1 headphones are Hi-Res Audio certified and provide lossless high-resolution sound, this means the music is as close as possible to the original recording.
Finest Materials and Highest Comfort
Beyerdynamic have used lacquered stainless steel for the housing covers and brushed anodised aluminium for the yokes to provide a particularly striking surface structure. The replaceable velour ear pads contain a multi-layer filling, which makes the headphones extremely comfortable to wear. One of the layers is made from memory foam, which adapts to your ear to ensures an excellent customised fit.
T1 Accessories
The T1 comes with a lightweight hard case in black for safe transportation on the go. A removable cable is included, which uses conductors made from ultra-pure OCC7N copper to provide the optimum sound transmission, which can be exchanged for an optional cable with 4-pin XLR connectors, allowing for balanced transmission on a suitable headphone amplifier.
