Product Description
The Bowers & Wilkins M-1 Satellite Speaker (Single) is a versatile and stylish addition to the home. It is well priced and can be used in either stereo systems or as the surround speakers in a home cinema system. The sound is compelling with or without a subwoofer. A stylish stand is provided or they can be wall-mounted. The maximum power input is 100 watts.
Versatile positioning
The Bowers & Wilkins M-1 Satellite Speaker is fitted with a swiveling foot that can be placed in any position. There is also a bespoke stand that brings the speaker up to listening height. The sound will always draw your attention. However, the matte black or Matte white finish can either blend in or make a statement. Both the cabinet and the perforated steel grille are the same colour.
Quality drivers
A 100mm woven glass fibre woofer and a 25mm metal domed tweeter are fitted to the Bowers & Wilkins M-1 Satellite Speaker. The two-way design has a power rating of 100 watts into 8 Ohms. The frequency response is 64Hz to 23kHz. The crossover uses high-quality components that will not degrade over time. A crossover is used to split the audio into frequency bands. With two-way speakers, a high pass filter feeds the tweeter.
Use cases
The Bowers & Wilkins M-1 Satellite Speakers are small enough to be used on a desktop with a PC as well as on a bookshelf with stereo systems. However, the wall mounting capability makes them ideal as the rear or side speakers in a home cinema system. For example, a 5.1 system would have a left and right front stereo pair as well as a rear pair and a subwoofer.
