Product Description
The Bluesound Node New Gen Streamer has been upgraded with reengineered components as well as a new headphone amplifier. There is also the addition of eARC for connecting the sound from your TV. It will also wirelessly connect to other Bluesound players for a multiroom experience.
Next, the latest sabre DAC is fitted for low-jitter performance. You can stream from many sources including Spotify and Tidal. HD playback is provided and using the unit is easy with the BluOS app.
High-end DAC
The Bluesound Node New Gen Streamer has upgraded audio circuity and the latest ESS SABRE® DAC (ES9039Q2M) chip. Jitter and interference performance have been improved and the sound is clear with lots of detail. The DAC forms the heart of modern audio units and ESS is the leading chip maker.
Versatile streaming
You can stream from multiple sources with the Bluesound Node New Gen Streamer. These include Spotify, Tidal, and Apple Airplay. There is also aptX Bluetooth built-in for connecting to mobile devices. Moreover, you can access personal music libraries. Additionally using the unit is easy with the BluOS app.
HD playback is available and the unit can play DSD files. DSD is used by SACD and is thought to be the closest digital format to analogue. DSD albums are also available on certain websites.
Go multiroom
The Bluesound Node New Gen Streamer can act as a hub for your music. Play music in any room by connecting wirelessly to other Bluesound devices such as speakers and stereo components. Additionally, the bluOS app will allow you to send the same or different songs to each location. WIFI and gigabit Ethernet are built in for dropout-free listening. The app can be installed on phones, tablets and PCs.
Advanced headphone listening
THX AAA headphone technology is fitted to the Bluesound Node New Gen Streamer. This provides a very linear response with minimal distortion. The front-mounted 6.3mm socket will connect your audiophile-grade headphones for a performance of exceptional clarity.
Great connectivity
On the back of the Bluesound Node New Gen Streamer, there is a range of connectivity. This includes the standard RCA outputs for connecting to an amplifier or smart speaker. Inputs include digital coaxial and optical as well as USB. An HDMI input is included to connect the sound from your TV.
This is eARC enabled so that you can control the volume with your TV remote. You can also use the BluOS app to select the source. Up to five pre-sets can be stored. Moreover, there is a proximity-sensing touch panel on the unit itself.
Smart room correction
The Bluesound Node New Gen Streamer has Dirac Live Room Correction available as an upgrade. This needs a microphone to measure the sound in the room. The unit then uses sophisticated software to correct the acoustics. This provides a flatter frequency response and clearer sound. Standing waves and reverberations are reduced. Furthermore, distortion is reduced. A calibration kit with a microphone is needed for setup.
