Product Description

Audiolab 8300MB Monoblok Power Amplifier is a compact powerhouse, available here in a pair, each unit producing a huge 250 Watts into 8 ohms of pure, balanced amplification.


8300MB’s full power output is delivered into any loudspeaker load – unconditionally. Massive reserves of power are available for high current drive capability to power and control the mightiest of speakers. This latest development of the Audiolab range now features a fully balanced power stage making the most of the balanced XLR inputs. This makes 8300MB a perfect match for the M-DAC using its balanced outputs, even over long cables.


Audiolab 8300MB is a mono power amplifier (or "monoblock"). Its a perfect partner for the 8300A or 8300CD, both of which can be used as a preamplifier. In time-honoured Audiolab tradition, this will give you a pre/power combo capable of high-end performance for far less than "high end" money.

Huge Power Reserves

Thanks to its huge power reserves and as the 8300MB amplifier is designed to be paired up with each power amp driving a single speaker, the 8300MB can drive even the most power-hungry and demanding of speakers and is assured to wring out the best sound quality, accurately and powerfully.

Bi/Tri-Amping Options

As a single channel power amplifier, the 8300MB is most commonly used in pairs, with one power amplifier driving each speaker. However, you can also use a single 8300MB to drive each set of drivers on your speaker, so for bi-wirable speakers (that have a separate set of terminals for high-frequency HF and low-frequency LF drivers), you can run 4 x 8300MB with two on each speaker - one for HF and one for LF drivers.

In the case of tr-wirable speakers, you can run 6 x 8300MB with three on each speaker - one for HF, one for mid-frequency MF drivers (which are usually combined with the LF connections on bi-wirable speakers) and one for LF drivers.


The 8300MB features both RCA and balanced XLR inputs, allowing you to connect it to a preamplifier either with RCA or XLR output options (in the case of the Audiolab preamp options, please note only the 8300CD has XLR outputs, the 8300A only has RCA outputs).

For ease of use, a 12v trigger-in and pass-through system are included which, when connected to other Audiolab 8300 models, basically turns the entire system on/off at the press of a button on a single Audiolab remote.
