Product Description
Audio Technica AT-LP120X Turntable is based on the original and affordable AT-LP120 model. It has been upgraded for better performance and is a great solution for sampling and mixing at any level. This is the ideal companion for producers and music lovers.
Improved usability
AT-LP120X is more cost effective than its predecessor extending accessibility to even more enthusiasts. It is refined with features that improve the turntable's audio performance and facilitate converting records to digital files.
AT-LP120X vs AT-LP120
One key difference between the AT-LP120X and AT-LP120 is the direct drive which has been upgraded to the latest DC Servo Motor to enhance playback speeds and lighten the unit. Digitising files is simpler thanks to the new integrated USB output which allows you to upload records onto a computer for further tweaking.
Improved Power Supply
Digital connection to the AT-P120X is ideal for producers as it enables the sampling of records directly from the turntable. In place of the internal power supply of the AT-LP120, the new model hosts an external power supply that augments audio signals.
What cartridge does the AT-LP120X use?
Other significant changes include the anti-skate mechanism and removal of tonearm height adjustment. The S-shaped tonearm enhances the playback of different records. Selective Phono preamp has clearer results and lower distortion than the previous model.
The AT-LP120X Turntable is also upgraded with the AT-VM95E Cartridge which employs a stylus that is switchable with any other styli in the VM95 range.
Improved Aesthetics
Overall, the design is sleeker and more streamlined. The turntable is available in an attractive silver or black matte finish. AT-LP120X is a more affordable and more refined model than the AT-LP120, ideal for any music enthusiast.
