Product Description
Audio Technica has produced a compact yet punchy unit with the Audio Technica AT-SP3X Active Speakers. They are ideal for use with the Audio Technica range of turntables as well as computers and smartphones. They can be connected by wire or a Bluetooth connection and they feature a 3” woofer and 1.1” tweeter.
The power is 30 Watts and the speakers use DSP to enhance the sound. They come with an AC adaptor and 2 meters of speaker cable. A power button and volume control are built into each unit.
Punchy sound in a small space
For a small speaker, the Audio Technica AT-SP3X Active Speakers have a big sound. They can fill any room with beautiful sound due to their 30-watt output. Digital Sound Processing is used to enhance the bass and they are specially tuned to deliver a rich sound that belies their size.
Simple operation
The Audio Technica AT-SP3X Active Speakers are simple to use and need no extra items. Just connect the speakers via the RCA leads or via Bluetooth. The minimal design is unobtrusive in any room. Moreover, they have good high-frequency performance up to 20 kHz.
What are active speakers?
Active speakers have a built-in amplifier so that you can connect a line-level signal directly via the built-in RCA sockets. They also have a volume control. A usable system can be created with just a turntable and the Audio Technica AT-SP3X Active Speakers.
Most active speakers use Class D amplifiers as these are up to 90% efficient and use less power. Additionally, you can connect to a mobile device via Bluetooth. You will then be able to stream music from online services such as Spotify. Moreover, you can listen to podcasts and online radio stations via your smartphone.
