Product Description
Audio Technica AT-OC9XSH Dual MC Phono Cartridge features a shibita stylus with nude square shank that distinguishes it from the rest of the OC9X series cartridges, specially built for extraordinary channel separation.
PCOCC Coil
Pure Copper Ohno Continuous Casting coils is employed to attain a perfect audio reproduction and are configured in a reverse V-shape that results in lower pressure exertion on the stylus to reduce distortion.
Audio Quality
The robust aluminum build reinforces sound quality and lowers resonance, a neodymium magnet and yoke of premium permendur construction that drastically raise magnetic energy, and nude Shibata stylus on a boron cantilever that traces the record groove with ultimate accuracy for rich, full-scope audio and high transient response. The cartridge body is pre-threaded so you can mount it on a headshell or integral tonearm effortlessly using only two screws without the need for nuts.
Key Features
- Dual MC design with independent L/R coils for outstanding channel separation
- Aligned coils in a reverse V-shape which exerts less pressure on the stylus
- The cartridge body is pre-threaded for mounting on headshell or integral tonearm
- Nude Shibata stylus and boron cantilever with exact tracking and high transient response
- A neodymium magnet and permendur yoke provide dramatically increased magnetic energy
- Aluminum body lowers unwanted vibration for reduced resonance and better audio
- Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting process for coils achieve pure signal transfer
