Product Description
Atlas Element Achromatic Bi-Wire 4.4 Z cable is the bi-wire variation of Atlas’ best-selling Element cable family, also available in a 2.4 variation. It offers great improvement over basic bi-cables and delivers high quality audio.
Why the Element Achromatic Bi Wire 4.4 Z?
Atlas’ entry-level Element Achromatic bi-wire cable offers audio advantages over basic bi-cables, it sits below Atlas’ Hyper Achromatic Bi-Wire cables.
Why Bi-Wire?
Bi-wire cables have become increasing popular in hi-fi set-ups and offer improvement over the wire loops or metal links. Rather than a regular speaker cable, a bi-wire cable uses two pairs of conductors that are designated for high and low frequencies.
OFC Conductors
Atlas’ Element Bi-wire cable uses 2mm² conductors of stranded OFC (Oxygen Free Copper), configured as two twisted conductors, together with two additional conductors, consisting of a pair of 1.1mm² solid conductors for the high frequencies.
PEF Insulation
Foamed Polyethylene insulation is an inert, consistent and higher quality form of dielectric, it reduces the RFI and magnetic interference. .
Termination
Atlas’ Element Bi-wire can be terminated with 4mm Achromatic Z connectors or OFC spades. Atlas’ Achromatic Z Plug have a low-mass, self-cleaning, solder-free construction.
