Product Description
Atacama SLX 500 is a 500mm high version of Atacama's SLX speaker stands (includes gel pads), ideal for supporting taller bookshelf speakers, available in black or white. All Atacama SLX models have identical top and base plates but differ in height.
Why the Atacama SLX 500?
Atacama’s SLX 500 measure 500mm in height (excluding spikes), an ideal choice for taller bookshelf speakers if a pair of "industry standard height" 600mm tall stands aren't tall enough. As a general rule of thumb, you want the speaker's tweeter to be at ear level.
Base Plates
Atacama’s SLX 500 stand have 5mm thick laser cut carbon steel base plates, BZP 8mm adjustable floor spikes featuring stainless steel detailed top caps and enhanced HLT (High Load Trapezoidal) Isolation Gel Pads for the top plates.
Mass-Loaded
The vertical columns can be mass loaded with Atacama's own Atabites for optimum performance of your speakers. Includes heavy duty carpet spikes as standard. Top spikes or gel pads for the top plate are available separately.
Alternatives
Atacama SLX500 includes isolation gel pads. We also sell SLX stands in other heights. As these speaker stands use isolation spikes, two sets of four Atacama HD-S (Nickel finish) spike shoes are recommended to protect delicate floor coverings.
