Acoustic Energy AE309 5.1 Speaker Package consists of two AE309 floor-standing speakers, two AE300 bookshelf speakers, an AE307 centre speaker and an AE308 subwoofer.
AE300 Range
Acoustic Energy’s 300 Series builds on the entry-level 100-range and raises the performance with it’s many upgrades to it’s aesthetic and build.
Improved drive units have been installed across the range to achieve a matched tonal integration, lower distortion and higher power handling. The 28mm aluminium dome tweeters feature Acoustic Energy’s Wide Dispersion Technology and the improved 130mm aluminium mid-bass driver has a ceramic aluminium sandwich cone and long throw motor system.
AE309 Floorstanders
The AE309’s are slim-line floor-standing loudspeakers with compact dimensions and suitable for medium to large sized rooms. They have a 28mm tweeter and 130mm mid/bass drive units to deliver a rich and power sound with great dispersion characteristics. These are a great choice for a front pair of home cinema speakers.

AE300 Speakers
The AE300’s are compact stand-mount loudspeakers, perfect for the rear channels in your 5.1 system. They house a 130mm mid-bass driver and a 28mm tweeter to deliver a powerful sound and an accurate bass performance, great for immersive rear channel sounds.

AE307 Centre Speaker
The AE307 is the centre speaker in your 5.1 system, it has a very-shallow profile and long throw motor system that offers enhanced dispersion augmenting bass and power handling. It’s great for getting cohesive dialogue and punchy sounds.

AE308 Subwoofer
The AE308 Sub offers a superb performance for your home cinema system; with use of it’s 500 Watt (RMS) amplifier that is mated to a 12” high-excursion doped and stiffened pulp-fibre driver.
The versatile AE308 Sub fits all applications with it’s many modes; Music mode extends low frequencies of the main speakers naturally and seamlessly down to 26Hz (+/-6dB), Movie mode adds additional “slam” to aid explosive movie soundtracks, and finally, Impact mode, which trades outright extension for maximum volume and serious impact, more akin to a night club set-up.
