Additional facility: Placed in standby the Fusion 21 CD becomes a stand alone Digital to Analogue Converter
After honing their designs over 25 years, the Fusion 21 CD player encapsulates Sugden’s passion for manufacturing of hi-fi equipment; fusing modern digital tech with classic hi-fi detail and attention to quality.
The foundation of the Fusion player is the CD engine – a combined CD loader and laser assembly operated by a unique software. The CD itself runs at a higher speed on the Fusion 21 compared to your average CD player meaning servo is capable of short term data storage.
To make the most of playing digital mediums, when in standby mode, the Fusion CD player also works as a stand-alone DAC. When using standby mode the S/PDIF Coaxial input allows replay of other connected digital sources.
