The latest version of Q Acoustics BT3 Bluetooth speakers feature aptX Bluetooth wireless streaming along with analog and digital inputs. These are Q Acoustics first active speakers.
They effectively take the design experience from award winning passive speakers like Q Acoustics 2010i, 2020i and Concept 20 and add an amplifier with wireless streaming capabilities. The result? Some of the best active speakers we've heard!
They're also a joy to use thanks to easy Bluetooth pairing with your phone or Bluetooth enabled portable player and make an excellent choice for desktop listening as well as lounge, bedroom or study placement. Additionally, Q Acoustics designed the BT3 to take on the soundbar market as they sound equally as impressive either side of your tv screen and improve on the sound quality of most screen's inbuilt speakers.
For your non-Bluetooth devices, the speakers feature 3.5mm and RCA inputs along with Digital optical (Toslink) inputs. Usefully, and unlike some other models, these speakers come with a selection of audio cables so you can get started easily.
A subwoofer output allows you to connect a separate subwoofer (like the Q Acoustics 2070S) for extra bass but in most settings you won't need it as the 100mm mid/bass driver delivers ample bass from the 2 x 50W amplifier and integrates seamlessly with the 25mm silk dome tweeters.
The BT3 also includes a full feature remote control and their compact dimensions of only 148mm wide, 240mm high and 226mm deep (each) make it easy to fit them into both spaces. Choose a colour, wait for delivery, plug in, and enjoy!
