If you cherish your vinyl and want to hear the most from it, the Primare R32 phono stage for MM/MC cartridges is a perfect choice - well suited to the Primare I32 and any other good set-up.
Full Size Unit
In contrast to the mini sized R20, the R32 is a full size component to match other models in the range including the Primare I32 amplifier and Primare CD32 CD player, for a uniform system look.
More importantly though, the R32 is a sonic upgrade on the already class leading R20 phono stage. It's larger chassis has benefitted circuit layout, allowing newly upgraded and highly sensitive signal components to be better isolated from an improved power supply, resulting in cleaner sound and greater fidelity.
Designed to work with a range of moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges, the R32 features switchable impedance and gain on the rear, allowing you to match it perfectly to your specific phono cartridge.

"Each instrument had space to breathe, with none dominating a song. With the Primare, £850 buys you a lot of phono stage, not to say tank-like build and classy looks. 'Effortlessy involving' are the two words we'd use in order to sum up its sonic signature. The R32 gives iff a sense of having power in reserve, able to cope with anything that's thrown at it calmly but not without passion. Indeed, this kind of quality for well under a grand constitutes a top-flight bargain." (Hi-Fi News Magazine Yearbook 2012)
'The R32 has a mellow, unfazed personality which marries rhythm and emotion with a balance sound that is easy to live with... it was this inherently 'natural' and well ordered perspective that won the day.' (Hi-Fi News Magazine January 2012)
'More than with any other phono stage, the Primare's sound continued to improve with each cartridge upgrade. The R32 just gets better!' (Hi-Fi News Magazine January 2012)
