Product Description

The Ortofon Cadenza Blue is a replacement for the Kontrapunkt B, with a nude FG70 stylus, ruby cantilever and improved winding process that offers better channel balance and dynamics over the Cadenza Red. With a wide, open soundstage, a high level of detail, it's a musical and enjoyable cartridge to listen to.

As an alternative to the Cadenza Red and as an entry point into high end phono cartridges, the Cadenza Blue offers the best of Ortofon's moving coil designs, allowing you to enjoy more of the magic stored in the grooves of your records.

The mains block is a sturdy and well built piece of kit.

The sockets really grip the plugs so you are assured of a really good electrical contact.

The power lead is relatively flexible and well made.

As for the important point of sound, it has the same qualities as the Super Constrictor mains lead, thus you are magnifying the effect of reduced noise, increased dynamics, etc.

It is not cheap, however quality really is and it is built to last, recommended.
