Oppo UDP-203 Audiocom Signature UHD 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player is a modified version of Oppo UDP-203 for ultimate performance from 1080p and 4K video with remarkable sound quality from HDMI and coaxial digital outputs.

Signature Model

This modified reference version of the Oppo UDP-203 4K UHD Blu-ray Player features a new top-end linear power supply with multiple low noise regulated power supplies for video and audio circuitry. It also has an audio grade Cryofuse which is non-magnetic and anti-resonance. The custom AC shunt device improves current flow while custom Bybee Bullets with Carbon based material and Tesla magnets remove AC noise.

Vastly improved, error and jitter-free data processing is now possible thanks to 77 Femtosecond Reference clock (0.077 psec) for the OP8591 SoC (Video, digital audio, DAC input). The material layer coating to 4K disc transport absorbs electromagnetic (RFI/EMI) energy and cancels out unwanted resonances and there is also RFI/EMI shielding for the HDMI outputs /Input.

A new high-quality Furutech IEC inlet is used with UP-OCC internal wiring to the power supply. The material layer extensive coating for chassis uses piezoelectric damping and absorbs electromagnetic (RFI/EMI) energy. On top of all this, it has supports Multi-Zone Blu-ray & Region Free DVD.

A premium Blu-ray player may service a low jitter clock for audio, but the System on Chip clock (SoC) is an ordinary clock oscillator circuit with jitter ideals up to 100 ps (100000 Femtoseconds). In a similar way that a low jitter clock will reduce phase noise (jitter) for the audio signal, a very low jitter clock for video processing will reduce jitter and noise in the video spectrum.

In the 203 signature, a unique approach to removing jitter in the video spectrum by employing an ultra-low jitter Reference clock for the OP8591 SoC. The Reference clock has a measured jitter performance of 77 Femtoseconds (RMS: 100 Hz to 100 KHz) and +/- 0.5ppm stability, amongst the lowest jitter in the industry. The clear outcome is a more accurate picture quality with greater complexity. Viewing a movie is less draining as the shifts are more straightforwardly understood by the eye.

Operating Conditions

In conventional audio/video equipment a traditional mains filter is used and while the better quality filters remove a degree of noise they are inadequate, often introducing negative effects. 203 signature takes two diverse types of alternative resolutions that eradicate major noise and deliver wanton current movement.
