Oppo UDP-203 4K UHD Blu-ray player provides an unrivalled cinematic experience and sets a benchmark for performance using cutting-edge image processing technology and high fidelity audio.

This version has been tweaked by Audiocom to offer multizone and multi region support.

Image Processing

A custom designed MediaTek OP8591 System on Chip affords UDP-203 the most advanced image decoding and processing technology available for 4K UHD/Blu-ray, DVD and generated media formats.

Advanced Picture Control enables adjustments to brightness, contrast, hue, saturation and sharpness to compensate any limitations of other home cinema components.

4K Playback

Playing 4K UHD Blu-ray discs, media files and user generated content, UDP-203 also supports decoding for HEVC, H.264, VP9 4K and Hi10P codecs. The expanded colour range of HDR delivers more natural and true-to-life colours while HDR10 accurately converts HDR to SDR for older displays.

UDP-203 is capable of upscaling lower resolution content from DVD and Blu-ray (720p/1080p) to 4K x 2K to an attuned display providing four times the resolution of a full HD Blu-ray disc. All current UHD, HD and SD resolutions are supported including 24p using various colour spaces.

Audio Processing

Handled by a premium 8-Channel AKM AK4458VN DAC, analogue audio processing supports 192kHz / 32-bit PCM and multi-channel DSD64/128 formats. High-res lossless AIFF, ALAC, APE, FLAC and WAV formats are supported.

Latest Surround

Dolby Atmos and TrueHD along with DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS:X surround formats are all incorporated adding overhead sound effects for a greater 3-Dimensional impression.

7.1 Channel

The 7.1 multi-channel analogue output section ensures you still get an incredible sound stage and immersive surround experience from older amplifiers and receivers that do not support HDMI. A custom-made super-fast 4K disc loader offers powerful error correction ensuring error-free playback of disc media.

Diversified Media

Play standard optical disc formats such as 4K UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, 3D, DVD, DVD-Audio, SACD and CD. Connected USB and up to 16TB thumb drives are supported. UDP-203 can access content from DLNA servers and SMB shared over the local network.
