The Pioneer VSX819 5.1 Channel AV Receiver features 130W per channel, full HD audio decoding, iPod/iPhone Digital Direct via USB, 1080p Upscaling, 3 x HDMI inputs and much more. Available in black or silver. 

Enjoy a full HD viewing experience with rich sound that complements the images on screen. The VSX819 is the perfect partner for your Blu-ray Disc player, with built in Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding. This high performance AV receiver comes with an HDMI Repeater: a single HDMI cable is all you need to transfer both video and audio digitally to the receiver. Up to 1080p video signals are supported, as well as " x.v.Colour" and " Deep Colour" features for vibrant, lifelike colours with smooth gradient transitions. 

The VSX819 works with iPhone digital iPod USB connection and provides direct plug-and-play enjoyment of all tracks stored on your iPod or iPhone, without the need for a docking station (an iPod/iPhone video and USB audio cable is included). The audio connection is digital, which guarantees transfer without intermediate digital-to-analogue, analogue-to-digital conversions; what you hear is pure. An " Advanced Sound Retriever" upscales the quality of compressed audio to closely match the original source, and the Auto Level Control, which compensates for volume fluctuations between songs or sources, both work to deliver a dynamic and full sound. 

All in all, this is a feature packed AV receiver with full HD sound decoding and a sub £400 price tag.
