The Audiolab 8300CD delivers is a combination CD player, DAC and pre amplifier and delivers a clean and detailed performance from a variety of music sources.
High Performance Design
8300CD is built for quality and versatility and features the highly regarded Sabre 32-bit DAC. Audiolab have added the ability to decode DSD audio via the USB input, a slot-load CD mechanism which replaces the current CD drawer, new softer' styling as well as capability to handle resolutions up to 32-bit/384kHz.
High Res Music Streaming
There is also a USB input for direct connection to a computer allowing you to bypass the usually inferior sound cards found in most computers and utilize the 8300's high-end DAC for greater sound. If you have a large computer-based music collection, the Audiolab will let you get the most from it and uncompressed file formats such as FLAC are guaranteed to sound stunning.
Additional Digital Sources
Extra digital inputs on the back allow you to use the 8300CD as a stand-alone DAC as well as a high quality CD player, via the option of 2 x optical inputs, 2 x coaxial digital inputs, along with an AES/EBU input via balanced XLR. Additionally of course you can connect your Mac or PC to the USB input.
RCA or XLR outputs
Unlike the Audiolab 8300A which can also be used as a pre amplifier but does not feature XLR outputs, the 8300CD features both RCA and balanced XLR outputs, allowing you to connect it directly to the Audiolab 8300MB power amplifiers to create a fully featured pre/power set-up.
As is typical of all Audiolab products, the build quality meets high standards with a sturdy chassis and smart aluminium fascia. The package is completed with a stylish and fully featured remote control.
Whether used as a full CD player or stand-alone DAC, the Audiolab 8300CD will deliver a breathtaking performance every time.
