Product Description

Sennheiser Momentum 2 On-Ear headset for iOS devices offers optimum mobility and performance taking passion for perfect sound to a new level. It combines high-resolution sound with a lightweight, puristic design and exclusive materials like stainless steel and Alcantara. The headphones are the result of countless improvements, technological innovations and the collective MOMENTUM of Sennheiser's developers.

Detailed and Clear

The new generation of Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear headphones carves out every aural nuance in even finer detail. Thanks to proprietary 18-Ω Neodym transducers that make the trademark sound an even greater experience. Clear, richly detailed, and with a powerful bass.

Puristic and Durable

The new Momentum On-Ear not only excels with improved sound but also with its revised design. The slightly curved profile of the headband as well as high-class materials like breathable Alcantara make for enhanced wearing comfort.

Comfortable and Variable

The ear cups of the new Momentum On-Ear are attached to highly mobile ball joints running steplessly in ergonomically shaped and collapsible sliders. The result: The headphones fit perfectly, also in their new space-saving carrying bag, thanks to the collapsible design. Headband and ear cushions of the Momentum On-Ear are covered with super soft, breathable Alcantara. For still more wearing comfort the ear cushions are filled with a special two-layer foam.

Handy and Intuitive

The integrated in-line remote lets you easily control phone calls, music, and volume. Furthermore, it supports Apple devices like iPod, iPhone, and iPad as well as Android tablets and smartphones.

Aesthetic and Mobile

With its low profile the angled 3.5-mm stereo jack plug is optimized for the use on mobile devices. Fitted with jack plugs on both ends, the cable is completely detachable and can be replaced if necessary.

Press Reviews

  • 'Best portable on-ear headphones £200+' (What Hi-Fi Magazine 2016)

  • 'Portable, desirable and blessed with brilliant sound - the Momentum 2.0s are a cut above the competition. For; Gorgeous design, foldable, comfy fit, beautifully detailed, balanced and full-bodied sound.' (What Hi-Fi Magazine June 2015)

  • 'The new design does a better job of enveloping your ears and they’re also asymmetrically shaped to further enhance the fit. Going up in size does add a bit of extra bulk, but the benefits are better noise isolation and an even higher level of comfort, especially for those who wear glasses. We think the changes have been well worth it.' (What Hi-Fi Magazine June 2015)

  • 'Although the general character hasn’t drastically changed, a quick blast is enough to tell you that the quality level has gone up. They lavish you with greater detail and insight, sounding more confident and stopping and starting with greater precision.' (What Hi-Fi Magazine June 2015)

  • 'There’s always an element of concern when a manufacturer takes a much-loved product back to the drawing board, but far from adopting an “if it ain’t broke…” mantra, Sennheiser has managed to build successfully on everything we loved about the originals. They’ve retained their looks, but now boast extra portability and improved sound quality. As far as premium portable headphones are concerned, the Momentum 2.0s tick all the boxes, and then some.' (What Hi-Fi Magazine June 2015)
