The Grado SR125e are the latest incarnation of the incredibly popular SR125i, offering refinements which make the SR125e the best model yet. The SR125e will produce a sound that is pure Grado, with warm harmonic colors, rich full bodied vocals, excellent dynamics, and an ultra-smooth top end.
The Grado E Series
Grado have painstakingly rethought and redesigned every element of the E Series, right down to the glue that is used.
Featuring cutting edge driver and cable design utilising Ultra High Purity Long Crystal (UHPLC) copper voice coil wire, and with an 8 conductor cable design, you will notice impeccable control and stability throughout the high and lower frequencies with both supporting the midrange Grado has become renowned for. Grado put the diaphragms through a special de-stressing process in order to enhance inner detail.
The SR125e's new driver, cable and plastic housing move air and react to sound vibrations in a way which is virtually unaffected by transient distortions. Bass, midrange and treble are open and you will enjoy the fine tonal spread and balance.

- Non Resonant air chamber

- 'The SR125es produce a nicely balanced frequency response that allows you to sit back and enjoy the music without it becoming fatiguing. Unlike some fashion-lead models, this headphone isn't going to swamp you with bass, but this isn't to suggest that its limited in the lower frequency range in any way. It has a pleasantly extended response.' (Hi-Fi Choice Magazine 2014)
'Don’t wear these on a bus; the Grados are supposed to be experienced at home, on your lonesome. Why? Because the sound is astonishingly good...They’re awesomely detailed, with impressive variation in texture. The open back affords them plenty of space, and so the soundstage is as wide as you like' (What Hi-Fi magazine)
'It’s a balanced sound: sparkly at the top, with an expressive midrange, and plenty punchy at the bottom. Agility is another strong point. These Grados pound along with pace and relentless energy, and it’s hard not to be entertained.' (What Hi-Fi magazine)
'Put it together and you have a wonderfully capable performance for the money, with detail, precision and endless musicality' (What Hi-Fi magazine)
