Designed to be lighter, smaller and even more portable, the Fiio X1 is made of light durable aluminium alloys and weighs only 106g making it your perfect travel companion. An intuitive user-interface is custom designed for high res DAPs beautifully rendered on full colour display with gold, silver, pink, orange, blue and green themes.
The Fiio X1 features a dedicated professional high quality DAC chip that uses Texas Instruments' newest PCM5142, efficiently surpassing the integrated DAC chips on smartphones. It also has a dedicated professional high quality amplifier employing intersil's newest ISL28291 amplifier buffer.
The X1 supports both driving headphones directly or line output and switching between the two can be done easily via a menu section. Using the line output, the listener can expand the X1 by adding a dedicated headphone amplifier such as the E11K or E12A.
Five major lossless music formats are supported; APE, FLAC, WAV, WMA, ALAC at up to 192kHz/24 bit master tape quality resolution. You can also play MP3, AAC, OGG Vorbis and other formats.
Continuing the X5's classic scroll wheel +x keygroup layout, the X1 incorporates an operating system customised around the scroll wheel. Users can simply browse and play songs and add them by batch to their favourites list. Further UI customisations can accommodate unsighted operation and the shortcuts button brings instant control of your music library under your fingertips.
CTIA standard inline remotes usually found on Apple, Samsung etc earphones are supported and can control the 7-band EQ and user defined playlists. The small unit currently supports the largest card sizes 128GB which can be inserted in the Micro SD card slot.
