Bill Herz is an industry innovator in the fields of video, multimedia, visual computing and consumer electronics technology with more than 25 years of experience. A rich and diverse background in video R&D, Consumer Electronics, computer product innovations, technical marketing and executive leadership qualified him to oversee, guide and lead DVDO's new product direction as Chief Innovation Officer and VP of Product Management.

His passion and fortitude for innovation helped in defining the future of video, multimedia and digital home products while his customer focus enabled many of these concepts to reach end users in high volume. Throughout his career, Bill has been granted 73 patents and is a practical innovator who has led or been part of teams responsible for many TV, PC, and Consumer Electronics industry firsts for AMD, NVIDIA, Seagate, Ampex, and Sony to name a few.
