Oppo’s eagerly awaited HA-2 is a beautifully designed portable headphone amplifier, designed to improve the sound quality of your Apple or Android device. We’ve listened to ours with our iPhone and Macbook and it sounds incredible. The sleekest upgrade for portable listening yet?

View on our website here:

 1. The Oppo HA-2 is luxuriously packaged. Slipping off the outer sleeve reveals the inner packaging, and excitement starts to rise as this all comes undone. It’s very well presented – Oppo have clearly put a lot of thought into the look and feel of their products, not just in terms of the technology but also the presentation of the brand itself.

2. Popping the top off the box reveals the HA-2, just sat there waiting to be played with! The black leather and the silver finish make us think of the interior of a luxurious Audi or BMW…

3. Beneath the sleeve that holds the Ha-2 you’ll find the accessories and the manuals. The HA-2 comes with everything you need to connect it to a computer or an Apple/Android device, as well as a wall charger and two black rubber bands so you can secure your headphone amplifier to your smartphone or music player on the move.

4. Sturdy and well made, the Oppo HA-2 features a protective leather sleeve which you expect to open like an iPhone wallet… But it’s just a wrap around. The controls on the Oppo are straight forward, it’s easy to use and feels like it’ll stand up to the sort of beating that an iPhone gets in every day use. Overall, we’re impressed with the look, feel and sound of the HA-2.
