Product Description

The Audio Technica LP5 turntable (now including a free lid) is an award winning, sleek and contemporary vinyl spinner, the perfect balance between technology and engineered design, delivering impressive sound from your vinyl collection.

Direct Drive Motor

Playback for both 33 1/3 & 45 RPM records is provided by the direct-drive engine. In contrast to belt driven designs (most hi-fi turntables), this has the benefit of offering excellent pitch (speed) stability.

The structure housing a cast aluminium platter and thick heavy rubber damping mat has been engineered for least chassis resonance and skillfully retains the discreet look to complement modern listening environments with its matt black surface finish.

Classic Style, Modern Technology

Engineered to minimise tracking error, the J-shaped tonearm harks back to the original Audio-Technica designs of the 1960’s & 70’s, complementing the AT-LP5’s clean lines and comes fitted with Audio-Technica’s lightweight AT-HS10 headshell and the exclusive AT95Ex Dual Moving Magnet cartridge.

Connect Directly to Amplifier, Active Speakers or Computer

The AT-LP5 offers a built-in switchable phono/line pre-amplifier that provides connection to a stereo system equipped with either phono or line-level inputs. The AT-LP5 also includes Audacity recording software for MAC or PC, USB cable and an RCA / RCA stereo adapter cable, allowing direct connection to your computer to transfer your classic LP collection to digital files using its USB output.
