Atacama Eris Eco 5.0 Special Edition shelf is a upgraded version of the original Eris Eco 5.0 shelf, with option of a 125mm or 175mm height gap to suit different hi-fi and/or AV separates. You can use this on its own as a one shelf stand, or in multiples ideally with or without the matching Eris Eco 5.0SE 2 shelf base as a taller hi-fi rack ordered to your own specifications.
Eris Eco Upgraded
This stand is a "Special Edition" variation of the standard Eris Eco and features an upgraded spike isolation system fitted to the legs of each module. While the standard Eris Eco has plastic press fit upper and lower cone inserts for the leg isolation spikes to interface with, the Special Edition version uses an advanced upper aluminium cone/steel connecting stud/ lower aluminium cone system, designed to channel any residual resonance through the cones and studs which is then dissipated through to the floor.
Standing for "Atacama Sonic Isolation system Technology", these gaskets are also fitted to each aluminium cone to aid isolation and help dampen any ringing within the steel legs themselves. To help further dissipate sonic resonance while reducing mass within each shelf, channels have been incorporated into the underside of each bamboo panel. These channels also act as a means of enclosing the main module framework resulting in a Hifi support that offers excellent value, ultra high performance and a clean, stylish modern design.
As part of Atacama's continuous development programme for our supports, the cone/cup interface has recently been upgraded adding approx. 2cm to the stated internal / external height of the two sizes of shelf modules (the Base module is unaffected).

Please note that bamboo is a natural material so colour, texture, grain and age may give a variable appearance to each shelf. Because of this, adding an extra shelf at a later date will introduce a batch / colour tone difference. Where possible order your Eris as a complete modular support with enough levels to fulfill possible future requirements in order to minimize this variation.
