Product Description

The Atacama Eris Eco 5.0 Hi Fi 2 Shelf Base Module is manufactured in the UK using high density carbonised bamboo resin shelves and a handmade fully welded powder coated steel frame. This can be used on its own as a 2-shelf stand for your hi-fi and/or AV equipment, or add on additional shelves to create a taller hi-fi rack upto a recommended maximum 5 shelves.

Featuring a clean, modern design the Atacama Eris Eco 5.0 Hi Fi 2 Shelf Base Module comes fitted with small isolation gel pads designed to decouple the framework for the supported bamboo pannel, and each shelf has channels incorporated into the underside to further help reduce sonic resonance.

Sustainable Bamboo

As its a grass, bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on the planet that when harvested will continue to grow allowing a new crop every 5 to 7 years. Because of this fast renewable growth, bamboo absorbs very high levels of CO2.

All the Bamboo used is to Atacama’s own specification and sourced directly from one specific bamboo plantation. No pesticides, herbicides or artificial fertilizers are in the growth cycle of the bamboo used for Atacama products.

Carbon Neutral

Because of its fast growth rate and high CO2 absorption, when factoring in processing, manufacturing and shipping bamboo remains a Carbon neutral material. Bamboo is also animal friendly.
