Arcam A19 is an award winning integrated amplifier which will delight music lovers of all tastes and generations. It is able to provide exceptional detail and transparency with minimal distortion, and is ideal for those who desire reference-quality sound at a reasonable price.
High Performance Design
The Arcam A19 features some of the most cutting-edge and pioneering concepts in amplifier design, utilising components and techniques usually found in Arcam's high-end products. Arcam have refined and tuned the amplifier's design and performance to an exquisite degree.
The high standards of the FMJ series products have been maintained throughout the A19's design and manufacture. Arcam engineers have chosen every critical component through careful measurement and years of design experience. The audiophile-grade components are designed and palced into a circuit layout configuration which has been optimised to produce the very best performance. The audio circuits of the A19 work in unison with an ultra-low noise power supply built around a large toroidal transformer.
The A19's chassis is resonance-damped, which ensures the state-of-the-art electronics are isolated from unwanted interference and resonance, and the quality and sound is maintained to Arcam's impeccable standards.
The focus on sound quality and design has resulted in an intelligent power supply which enables the A19 to offer a flexible upgrade path to allow for improvements and augmentations in the future. The A19's power section has been designed to supply two of Arcam's industry-leading r-Series products in addition to its main duties. With this, the A19 is able to act as a digital hub for a range of digital connection options and upgrades which include both Bluetooth and USB devices and sources.
Includes Phono Stage
Despite the trend of digital music being increasingly popular, Arcam have not forgotten the popularity and sonic benefits of analogue sources. Arcam have chosen to equip the A19 with a new ultra-low noise moving magnet (MM) phono stage, allowing music enthusiasts to enjoy their vinyl collections.
Dedicated Headphone Amplifier
Amplifier headphone outputs have made little effort to keep up with the dramatic increase in the use of high performance headphones. However, the A19 bucks this trend by utilising a completely new circuit, capable of delivering a level of sound quality to thirll even the most demanding audiophile.

'The Arcam A19 takes you along for the ride, doing away with flashy effects in favour of the kind of sound that simply makes you listen to track after track, losing all track of time.' (What Hi-Fi Magazine May 2013)
16 Nov 2013Used to have an Arcam Alpha 7 and went over to some other brands until I read the review on the A19. So far I'm very impressed. Its a lot smoother and bigger sounding than my old Rotel and sounds fabulous with KEF LS50 speakers. I don't always trust the reviews, but on this occasion I'm glad I did!
