Mask 6 speakers are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and offer hi-fi quality sound, available in black or white. The grill is made of aluminium and the woofer has been coated. The cabinet is supplied with a rubber IP protection cover for the loudspeaker terminals. This way water ingress and corosion of the loudspeaker terminlas is avoided.
Mask 6 are has a powerfull 6.5” coated papercone woofer. Together with the Vari-throat horn for the Ferro-fluid cooled silk dome tweeter this results in a high SPL and ultra low distortion. Its phase alignment and wide frequency range makes sure every note, starting from the robust bass over the clean middle range to the crystal clear highs, reaches your ears with an astonishing clarity.
Mask series have a unique and very stylish innovative design. They can be used with their grill for a soft and gentle look, or take the grill away for a sportive looking, robust loudspeaker. The cabinet is made of high quality enforced PP4 ABS. The internal bracketting and the shape of the cabinet avoids internal interference and optimises the sound quality of the Mask6 loudspeaker.
23 Oct 2015Purchased as an 'open box' for a garden party for my daughter's 21st. I used with my old retired Onkyo 609 and connected with Van Damme Concert Grade Black Speaker Cable 2.5mm. I ran them for a constant 10 hours gradually increasing volume. After only 3-4 hours they had loosened up enough to hear a marked improvement in sonic range. They were surprising solid on base and that was without being properly mounted (I did not have time to do before the party) Several of our friends commented on the sound quality. The only niggle was the protective terminal cover did not stay in place. They were supported from the open conservatory by a pair of Q acoustic AV speakers, my old Dali Vokal Centre and a new Yamaha sub. All together we had a great sound with the Mask 6 taking the lead. I think I may look at getting another pair to complete the garden setup....
