Yamaha RX-V673 replaces the hugely popular RX-V671, an accomplished networked 7.2 channel AV Receiver with additional zone controls with HDMI (6 in/1 out) with 4K pass-through, ECO mode and Airplay, available in black or titanium finishes.

The Yamaha RX-V673 offers an impressive combination of features and performance, a star performer with movies and music with all the latest HD sound modes, a mass of connectivity options and the option to add upto 7 speakers with 2 subwoofers for a full 7.2 channel set-up. Additionally, network support allows you to use the RX-V673 as the hub for a complete home entertainment set-up with the ability to play music stored on your home network.

In contrast the lower RX-V373, RX-V473 and RX-V573 models, the RX-V673 offers 7.2 rather than 7.1 channels, Dialogue Lift, Pure Direct (with video on mode) for purity of the audio signal path, HDMI upscaling (Analogue to HDMI / HDMI to HDMI) and 6 rather than 4 HDMI inputs.

New Features

	Eco Friendly Design: designed to save you money, Eco Mode lowers power consumption by 20%. Auto power down can also be set to turn the unit off after 2, 4, 8 or 12 hours and standby power is only 0.3W.
	Subwoofer Trim: Soundtracks not encoded in 5.1 could previously send some higher frequencies through the subwoofer. This feature avoids this, improving imaging to maintain a more accurate soundstage.
	4K Passthrough: 4K images are 4 x the resolution of 1080P. Such high res images aren't available yet but you can be sure this AVR is ready for these ultra high def images when available.
	YPAO (Yamaha Parametric Room Acoustic Optimiser): With the included microphone, this analyses your room and fine tunes levels to ensure your speaker set-up sounds optimal, whatever you're listen to.
